The Barons made some tactical changes in this end of season affair. Elliott Capstick found himself pushed up front and was denied by Forest's young keeper on more than one occasion.
The Barons eventually broke through with a shot from Joseph Darcy which found its way into the bottom corner. Archie Paxton doubled the lead with a well taken goal. Cameron Barrett was able to poke the ball home from close range for the third, and Joseph Darcy grabbed his second and the Barons 4th near the end of the 2nd half.
At the start of the 2nd half the Barons sat back and allowed Forest to push forward. Forest eventually getting the ball in the back of the net.
Cameron Barrett added his 2nd with a long range effort and Teal Amos couldnt keep his name off the score sheet to make it 6 for the Barons.
Forest however weren't finished and managed to break away and grab a 2nd goal.
Through out Harry Brown Sainty earned the man of the match for his efforts in tidying up at the back for the Barons on his own and ran the ball out of defence and made some telling passes. Sam Jacks was the star for Forest.
The game was played in a really good spirit and credit must go to both sets of players.
