Our game was called off today due to water logged pitch !!!

Hopefully not the first of many.

The game was rearranged for 25th Novmeber.

Pendle Forest Black : Nil Vs Barnoldswick Barons : Two

Barnoldswick Barons edged Pendle Forest in a good tight game.

The Barons playing up the slope in the first half worked well defensively to keep Pendle Forest from any clear cut chance. The Barons soaked up the pressure and in the last few minutes of the first half managed to break away and score twice. Teal Amos putting the ball in the back of the net twice to continue his scoring streak.

In the second half the Barons couldnt turn their possesion into goals. The Pendle Forest keeper denying Amos his hatrick with a good save and Forest cleared one off the line.

Pendle Forest broke well on a couple of occasions and only some good defensive work from Sam McGlashan and then a good save from Joseph Darcy denied Forest and kept the Barons their clean sheet.

Archie Paxton forced a good save from a free kick late on and was Barons Man of the Match, whilst Jack Irving earned Forest's Man of the Match with good defensive work.
