What a game of football between these two evenly matched sides. The Barons needed to play well and they did. The Barons defence were on top of their game with Elliott Capstick putting in a man of the match performance, making numerous well timed tackles. The Barons soaked up the pressure in the first half but kept Fulledge at bay. Barons then started pressing and were rewarded early in the 2nd half. Joseph Darcy put over an in swinging corner and the keeper was unable to stop it going directly in. Fulledge had a good chance from their own corner but Owen Westall met the ball with a sweet header but just went over the bar. The Barons had a couple of other chances and Fulledge kept pressing but the Barons side kept cool and dealt with the balls being played in.

The Barons kept their shape, their discipline and came out winners. Well played to the Barons.
