Barnoldswick Barons U8: Six Vs Brierfield Celtic Blue U8: Nil

The Barons played well in a near faultless display to record their 2nd win of the season. The Barons pressed early on and Teal Amos continued his impressive start to the season by scoring 2 goals in the first half. The midfield closed down Brierfield and passes saw Teal through to score. Richard Guy came off the bench in the last few minutes of the 1st half to score a scrambled goal.

The 2nd half Brierfield defended strongly but the Barons broke the defence with some good footwork by Joseph Darcy who moved the ball well and was able to get a good shot on target and score. The game looked over, however Barons hit Breirfield with two late goals. The first of which was probable Barons best of the match, breaking from defence Richard Guy carried the ball well, but delivered an excellent pass to Teal Amos who cooly put the ball away.

The last goal came from a thunder bolt free kick from Richard Guy.
