the barons crashed out of the cup but didnt disgrace themselves on a awful pitch the barons were under pressure straight from the start but dogged defending and a couple of great saves same the keep a foot hold in the game but a momentary lapse saw the home team take the lead but the barons drew level good combination play from matt holt and ben crabtree saw the latter dink the ball over the advancing keeper but again the barons were undo
half-time 2-1
the barons took the game straight to there host and a foul just inside the centre circle saw ben crabtree's free kick smashed into the top corner of the net to draw the teams level again but after a period of pressure again the barons conceded 2 quick goals but they were offered a way back into the game when james oddie was uppended but ben crabtree's spot kick was saved by the keeper.

this knocked the barons back and it was clitheroe who took the incentive scoring 3 more times and wrapping the game up
